The S.E.E.D. Ministry empowers Christian caregivers of “tween” children with the tools and support they need to grow in their faith-based caregiving journey. Through Spiritual, Emotional, Environmental, and Deeds-based (Actions/Events) resources, we provide a strong foundation for caregivers to nurture and guide the next generation with confidence and grace.

The S.E.E.D. Ministry, founded by St. Matthew’s Community A.M.E. Church of Hollis under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Kevin D. Miller, is committed to supporting Christian caregivers of “tween” children (ages 9-12). Our dedicated team provides Spiritual, Emotional, Environmental, and Deeds-based (Actions/Events) resources to equip and empower caregivers on their faith-filled journey. With the love and support of Christ, we walk alongside you as you navigate the joys and challenges of parenting during this transformative stage.

Rev. Dr. Kevin D. Miller was appointed Pastor of St. Matthew’s Community African Methodist Episcopal Church of Hollis on April 30, 2023. With a deep love for God and a heart for service, he has hit the ground running to be a blessing to the community. As a devoted parent to two young ladies, his passion for supporting caregivers of “tween” children comes from a genuine and personal place. Under his leadership, the S.E.E.D. Ministry was founded to provide spiritual, emotional, and practical resources to Christian caregivers, equipping them to navigate the challenges and joys of raising the next generation in faith.
